Got questions about the Soulful Giving Blanket Concert on Saturday, August 3rd 2019?
Here are some useful tips and helpful answers that might come in handy.
  1. Can I leave the concert grounds and return later in the day?
    1. Yes, you can leave and return provided that you use the shuttle service to and from MHCC and continue to wear your lanyard while on the concert grounds. Anyone without an official lanyard will be asked to leave by Multnomah County officers.
  2. Are chairs provided for this event?

  3. Can I reserve my seating area? What about wheelchairs? Is there ADA access?
    1. Seating is provided on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please be considerate when saving "a few" spaces for others who have not yet arrived and be courteous to other ticket holders who have arrived early. Wheelchairs need to be placed under the sides of canopies and can be rolled easily across freshly mowed lawns. Anyone requiring assistance can be dropped off next to the registration area, however, drivers will need to park at the college and shuttle back to the event site.
  4. Can I bring a water bottle or any food?

  6. Can I park on the event grounds?
    1. All parking is at Mt Hood Community College, which is located at 26000 SE Stark Street in Gresham, Oregon. Signs will be posted designating the correct parking areas and shuttle stops for all ticket holders and volunteers. (see the map below)
  7. Will limos be provided for VIP ticket holders?
    1. VIP ticket holders will be shuttled by Northwest Navigator—a luxury bus service, and volunteers will be on hand to check you in at the college. In addition to a lanyard containing drink tickets, you will receive a lovely glass of chilled champagne upon arrival and a raffle ticket for the VIP basket drawing.
  8. What do I get for the price of my ticket?
    1. All ticket holders receive free parking and free shuttle service to the venue where four bands will be performing throughout the day. Complimentary drink tickets are distributed as follows: VIP ticket holders receive 3 tickets and Premier ticket holders will receive 2 tickets valid at any of our three bars. A fourth bar is available to VIP guests only under the VIP canopy. Additional tickets can be purchased from designated volunteers and at the information booth. The food pavilion is available exclusively to our VIP ticket holders and is a one-trip pass that can be used anytime between 11:30am and 4:30pm.
  9. What kind of drinks will be served?
    1. Bartenders will be serving fine wines, assorted beers, soda, sake and a “special" vodka cocktail. Bottled water is complimentary and can be collected from one of our four bars.
  10. Will there be food available?
    1. Food carts and booths will operate throughout the day and are available to all ticket holders from 11:30am to 7:00pm.
  11. How does the silent auction work?
    1. The Silent Auctions are arranged in two groups that close at 4pm and 6pm. We encourage winning bidders to complete their purchases (cash or credit card) before 8pm. For items too large to carry or shuttle, you may return with your vehicle to collect them in the registration area. We will NOT hold items beyond two days.
  12. What other activities are there?
    1. We offer yard games, spectacular raffle prizes, a wall-of-wine—where upscale bottles of wine can be purchased for a remarkably low price, and a champagne and diamond drawing for a stunning diamond ring donated by Fred Meyer Jewelers. In addition, independent art & craft vendors are located around the grounds and we ask that you try to visit them all. 10% of your purchase from these sales benefit Randall Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel and Providence Cancer Institute - Oregon, so please shop! 🤩
  13. Can I donate money to the Soulful Giving Foundation?
    1. Yes, of course! Donation envelopes will be available at the information booth and your contributions are most welcome.
